Whats the source for Thunderfire Cannon, Mole Launcher and Storm Shields? Neither existed when the Squats were created? The Lemur 00:47, 18 July 2012 (CEST)

Oh - there was an epic "Thunderfire Cannon" - but it was different from the SM one - was a BIG artillery piece. The Lemur 00:55, 18 July 2012 (CEST)

Codex Titanicus has the Thunderfire Cannon and it indeed seems to be different now that I get a separate look. Mole Mortar is listed as a weapon for Squats in 40k Compendium. Storm Shields are called Power Shields and I thought they were the same thing, correct me if I'm wrong.--Harriticus 01:24, 18 July 2012 (CEST)

Power Shields were an old bit of equipment that has since been dropped - whether they are the same as Storm Shields is debatable, but I think the 2 items existed at the same time, meaning they are presumably different. Mole Mortars were defo squat, but the mortar and the Mole Launcher have different entries on the Lexi - the latter is a DKo'Krieg Forge world beastie. (They are basically the same thing, but they have dif sources and names). I'd say -

• Keep Mole Mortar, lose Mole Launcher
• Lose Storm Shield and make Power Shield entry - we can either make a page for it or leave it blank until someone finds a Rouge Trader era source
• Make a "Thunderfire (Squat)" page - I'll try and find an article about it. The Lemur 01:41, 18 July 2012 (CEST)
