Talk:Tallarn
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
Imperial Archives
- Question : Is the second source an "official" GW source ..? --Ackheron 08:59, 28 June 2011 (CEST)
- The disclaimer states that it is a hobby site. However Tallarn is a fairly well covered topic, must be able to source it fairly quickly.--Ytokes 09:29, 28 June 2011 (CEST)
- Question 2: Is Tallarn really a "Civilised World" ? I better agree with the choice by the german lexi
+ Map's Image is to be update with the one in the german article --Ackheron 10:07, 28 June 2011 (CEST)
- Of course Inisfail is NOT an official source, pff. And regarding the categorization of Tallarn it has to be checked in the sources, we NEVER put our own opinion about what category it should be. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum 12:36, 28 June 2011 (CEST)
- As weird as it might sound, according to Desert Raiders, it actually is a Civilized World. Using an archive link Inquisitor S. showed me a while ago, I was able to confirm that the background here is correct; in fact, it is a little less detailed than the official link. I suggest that we remove the "Imperial Archives" source, and re-work the article to the official GW fluff about it. Here is the link [1]. Commisar Gegnillum 14:26, 28 June 2011 (CEST)
- I agree. If we don't need here first a Notification Template, I suggest that you make the article's uptdate with the Inquisitor S' Link.
Category: My opinion was made after reading the sources. But often with the official sources (this link for ex.), are rarely the planet-categories black on white printed, or not? So, how could you be sure that domed towns on a virus-bombed +desert world could be categorized as a "Civilized World"? (there's no irony in my question, which is also for the french article ; ) --Ackheron 09:27, 4 July 2011 (CEST)
