Talons Unsheathed
Talons Unleashed was a battle in M42, which saw the Adeptus Custodes' Gilded Chevaliers Shield Host and the Sisters of Silence's Cobalt Reach Vigil defend the worlds of Chyromada from the Asuryani of Craftworld Yme-Loc.[1]
History
After Yme-Loc launched relentless attacks on Chyromada's worlds, one of the Adeptus Custodes' Eyes of the Emperor sent out a warning of the Asuryani' invasions. This was answered by the Custodes' Gilded Chevaliers Shield Host and the Sisters of Silence's Cobalt Reach Vigil, who upon their arrival employed ancient esoterica to blind the Xenos' powers of prophecy. This allowed them to launch a surprise attack on Yme-Loc, even as the leaders of the Craftworld's invading forces were commanding an assault upon the macro-bastions of Jormungaard Heliosa. As the two sides clashed, the Gilded Chevaliers kept Yme-Loc's warmachines at bay and allowed the Cobalt Reach to kill the Craftworld's leaders. And with their deaths, the threat of the invasion was ended.[1]
