The Tanagran Dragoons were a number of regiments of the Imperial Army during the Great Crusade. Eight Tanagran Dragoon regiments formed part of the garrison of the Forge World of Diamat at the outbreak of the Horus Heresy.[1a]

Regimental History & Battle Honours
Eight Dragoon regiments formed part of the garrison of Diamat. During the early stages of the Battle of Diamat their commanding officer was killed by an atomic strike, so Governor Taddeus Kulik took control of the regiments. By the end of the battle all twenty thousand soldiers had been wiped out.[1b][1c]
