History
Tartarus IV is a frozen world first inhabited by a colony of penitents living under the surface for centuries. It has grown into a vast network of subterranean cities.[1a]
Prolonged warp surges have created a phenomenon called "creeping ice" on the northern hemisphere, which devours anything that produces heat. The population of the affected areas live inside armoured vaults.[1a]
