Teknoth
Teknoth the Dread is a Necron Royal Warden, who serves a great Phaeron of the Szarekhan Dynasty.[1b]
History
He is a renowned battle-champion, who has felled countless foes and constantly brags about his accomplishments. This led Teknoth to come to the notice of the Nihilakh Dynasty Overlord Trazyn the Infinite in M42, who decided to abduct the Royal Warden to fight in his arena. This was partly done to see if the Royal Warden lived up to his bragging and to also annoy the arrogant Teknoth. He was not the only warrior brought to the arena, which is located within the Overlord's hidden Sanctum and connected to the Tomb World Solemnace, via Reality-Tethers. Facing the Warden was the Blood Angel Rafelo, the Ultramarine Markus Castus and the Death Guard Refulgus Grue, who were all brought there to fight for Trazyn's amusement. The Overlord promised, however, that he would free the last fighter who remained standing. For his part, Teknoth is furious about his imprisonment and is determined to prove his superiority to the other warriors, before he escapes and exacts his punishment upon Trazyn. However unbeknownst to the Warden and the other warriors, the Overlord has no intention of freeing the arena winner. Instead the victor will have the honour of taking a place of pride within Trazyn's latest exhibit on Solemnace.[1a]
