Terran Redemptionists
The Terran Redemptionists are pious Astra Militarum Regiments that defend Terra and are composed of Guardsmen from other Regiments.[1]

History
They were created after the Great Rift's creation, caused riots on Terra and led the Ecclesiarchy to call upon loyal Guardsmen to protect the Hive World's most sacred sites from the mobs. Those who answered their pleas were torn from their own Homeworlds and had been stationed near the Golden Throne, whose power drove them to the brink of madness. These Terran Redemptionists have now taken on the task of purging Heretics and blasphemers within Terra's seething Underhives, with the Emperor's holy flame. They have now donned the panoply of their new cult over their original uniforms and wield a mixture of standard weapons, along with what they have scavenged from the Hive World itself. The Redemptionists also carry grim trophies of the Xenos they have slain in battle, during their careers in the Astra Militarum.[1]
