The Bloom
The Bloom is a Warp plague, that the forces of Chaos seek to infect worlds with. However, a Grey Knights strike force has been dispatched to stop their plot as Inquisitor Vakir investigates.[1] It appears in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters.

Strains
There are five distinct strain of the Bloom.
Poxus
The Strain of Disease, it infects everything even into their mind. Gameplay wise, it favours increasing resistance and decreasing Crit Vulnerability.
Mortus
The Strain of Death, wiping out entire populations and taking them back from the grave. Gameplay wise, it favours adding status effect: Drained
Necrosus
The Strain of Decay, rotting all things living and mechanical. Gameplay wise, it favours adding extra armours.
Dolorus
The Strain of Agony, emitting a compounds that afflicts hysterical pain. Gameplay wise, it favours adding more damage to their attacks.
Tentarus
The Strain of Growth, corrupting the purity of the human form, gifting them powerful mutations. Gameplay wise, it favours adding extra hp.
Technophage
This new strain of the Bloom significantly enhanced the forces of Nurgle. Alongside this is the newly found Technophage Elites.
