Fafnir Rann wielding The Headsman & The Hunter^[2]

The Headsman & The Hunter were twin power axes that were wielded by the Imperial Fists Captain Fafnir Rann, during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.^[1]

History

They were his constant companions and Rann mastered a unique style of combat, that saw him able to switch between wielding both axes at once, to wielding only one alongside his Boarding Shield. This allowed the Captain to meet any combat situation and few foes could stand against Rann's potent combination of ferocious attack and indomitable defense.^[1]
