The Horus Heresy Vol. II: Visions of Darkness is a full colour background book. It takes up the story of Horus’s rebellion against the Emperor where volume 1 left off. It is packed with full colour artwork taken from Sabertooth’s CCG. It also includes many of John Blanche’s concepts from his sketchbooks, which inspired much of the finished art that appears in the game. Alan Merrett has also provided the background text, packed with secrets about the Horus Heresy.[1]

- The Imperial Army
- The Dark Mechanicus
