The Scattering
The Scattering is a recent event in the history of the Raven Guard.[1]
It took place sometime after the Great Rift's creation, when Chapter Master Kayvaan Shrike called the Raven Guard's Command to the Ravenspire. There, the Raven Guard learned that they were to be scattered across the Imperium, from the Segmentae Sanctus to the darkest reaches of Imperium Nihilus. Afterwards, each Shadow Captain received his own secret orders and set out with grim determination, towards goals only known to Chapter Master Shrike.[1]
Afterwards, Shrike resigned as Chapter Master, feeling himself inadequate for the role of high command and not exemplifying the Trifold Path of Shadow. 1st Company Captain Aethon Shaan was appointed as the new Master of Shadows.[2]
