The Thracian Primaris System is an Imperial system located in the Helican Subsector of the Scarus Sector of the Segmentum Obscurus.^[2]

History

In 241.M41, Thracian Primaris replaced Gudrun as the capital of the Helican subsector.^[1]

During the 13th Black Crusade, the system was subject a massed invasion of Orks, along with the rest of the sector. The worlds of Lethe Eleven and Mordax Prime have been conquered entirely - with the latter renamed Moredakka by the Orks - while large swathes of Imbrium and Ulant are under their control. Gudrun and Nysa Stromolo are on the verge of anarchy; however, Thracian Primaris and Elnaur Delta have resisted the greenskins, their defences bolstered by reinforcements from the Salamanders and Black Templars Space Marine chapters.^[1]

Later, during the Arks of Omen Campaign, Thracian Primaris came under attack by a Chaos Balefleet. Despite the efforts of the system's defenders, they were unable to stop the Balefleet's rampage.^[6]

Conflicting Sources

White Dwarf 287 (UK)^[1] describes the worlds of Gudrun, Lethe Eleven, Imbrium, Moredakka (Mordax Prime), Nysa Stromolo and Ulant as being part of this system, but this is a mistake. Battlefleet Gothic: Armada (Book)^[3], a later White Dwarf 291 (UK)^[4] and the 2003 Eye of Terror Worldwide event^[5] place these worlds within the Scarus Sector, but outside the system.
