Thrassos lies within Segmentum Tempestus'[2] Adransa Cluster and was once an Imperial world, until it was conquered by the Waaagh! of Warboss Dregdakka in 928.M41.[1]
History
Horus Heresy
During the course of the Horus Heresy, a Dark Angels flotilla was ambushed at Thrassos by a Night Lords Warband. However the Warband was being hunted by a vindictive Shattered Legions warfleet that attacked by flanking the Night Lords.[2] The Dark Angels were later also unexpectedly aided by a force of their brethren from their Homeworld Caliban. It is not clear, though, what the final outcome of the battle was.[3]
Waaagh! Dregdakka
Millennia later in 928.M41, the Adransa Cluster was invaded by the Orks of Waaagh! Dregdakka. The Iron Knights and Liberators Chapters attempted to kill Warboss Dregdakka on Thrassos, but this ends in failure. The Space Marines suffer heavy losses as a result of this and within the year, Thrassos and the Adransa Cluster were conquered by Waaagh! Dregdakka.[1]
