A Novator of House Orsellio long before M42, Tisiphone II Orsellio was a tyrannical leader who led the House into a secret war against another Navigator House. This conflict involved a series of vicious battles fought within the Warp, hidden from any witnesses in realspace.[1a]

Aided by the Setthala clan, a branch of the house, all of whom sacrificed themselves for an experiment, Tisiphone obtained the Starway Atlas on the Desert World of the Smaragdus Mundos System. This would give her the ability to directly control not only all of her House who had an Atlas embedded into them, but also be reborn into any future descendant that recreated the Starway Atlas within them.[1b]
