Tolmach
Tolmach was a Druid Chaplain of the Emperor's Spears' 3rd Warhost.
Biography
Hailing from Nemeton's Novontei Tribe, unlike many of the Spears who initially shunned the Mentor Legion liaison Amadeus, Tolmach immediately displayed professional and polite attitudes towards the Astartes.[1a] When the Exilarchy boarded the Spears flagship Hex, Tolmach was the first to die against a child Rogue Psyker.[1b]
After his death, some of Tolmach's organs (alongside those of Faelan) were used in the Calgarisian Rites performed on Amadeus that both saved the Mentor and allowed him to cross the Rubicon Primaris. A statue was made in his honour on the barrow deck of the Hex; its plaque mentioned that Tolmach had once he once headbutted a planetary governor in front of an entire royal court, and expressed a feeling of loss at his death at the hands of the Pure.[1c]
