Torment (disease)

Torment is a disease that broke out during the Pirody Campaign.[1]
Its effect manifested itself unexpectedly - a sick person simply fell to the ground and, with a high fever, was hospitalized. Death occurred within about an hour, the skin bubbled and blistered, the eyes were leaking, but the infected tried to attack the people nearby. Blood flowed from all the pores of the patient, completely dehydrating him and turning him into a husk.[1]
