Two Hundred
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
The Two Hundred refers to a group of 200 Terran recruited Emperor's Children.[1]
Being amongst the original Legion inductees during the Unification War, the IIIrd was later devastated by a genetic blight caused by a Selenite plot that culled much of their numbers. By the time Fulgrim was rediscovered and reunited with his Legion, there were only 200 III Legion Astartes remaining. These last remaining warriors were later supplemented with Astartes drawn from Chemos but retained a degree of honour in the Emperor's Children due to their veteran status. However their genetic blight continued to eat away at some, such as Chief Apothecary Fabius.[1]
