Tyrennius
Tyrennius was a Space Marine of the Ultramarines Legion.[1]
Biography
Tyrennius was a Terran, inducted into the Legion from the Midafrik Hive levies towards the end of the Unification War, in preparation for the Great Crusade.[1]
He went on to serve in the earliest decades of the Great Crusade, before he was given command of his Legion's forces in the First Magellan Expedition. However, the Expedition ended in failure and Tyrennius was among the few to return from that doomed endeavor, though he had sustained such terrible wounds that only interment within a Contemptor Dreadnought saved him from death.[1]
Afterwards, he would continue to serve in the Ultramarines' Eighth Chapter, fighting in The Calth Configuration for ten years, so by the time the Battle for Calth began, the Dreadnought was known as Ancient Tyrennius of the 8th Chapter Dainhold Tertiary Muster.[1]
During the battle against the Word Bearers Legion, Tyrennius fought with bitter resolve against the Traitors on Calth's surface and was instrumental in the defeat of a large Word Bearers force that assaulted the gate of Arcology XVk. It is not known however, if he survived the Battle for Calth.[1]
