Ullatur is a board game played in the Imperium.[1]
Overview
Ullatur is a game for two players, using two sets of coloured pieces on a board made up of hexagonal spaces. The pieces include the Raven, the Crone, the Prince, the Light-Bearer, the Knight and the King.[1]
Although it originated on Terra, many variants of the game exist across the Imperium. One such was played by the scholar-caste of the Noonreach Cluster; this variant pitted black pieces against red ones and made use of two extra pieces called the Messenger and the Fiend. Another quirk of the Noonreach version was that going first was considered a disadvantage.[1]
