Unhallowed Heart
The Unhallowed Heart is a Space Hulk that appeared at the edge of the Maelstrom in 681.M41.[1]
A twisted conglomeration of mangled cityscapes and lost ships, the hulk proved to be the abode of Daemons and all who came into contact with it were riven by suicidal despair and madness. Several squadron ships and an Astral Claws strike cruiser were lost in an attempt to intercept it before reappearing in orbit of Eshunna XII, murdering a quarter of the population. The Lamenters Chapter drew close to the hulk and used a combination of close range bombardment and boarding actions against the Warp-Haunted hulk, forcing it away from the planet. Pressing their assault, the dark star at its heart faded from existence and the hulk broke up. The Lamenters' losses were high, with over three hundred dead and four strike vessels lost.[1]
