Ursid

Ursids are bears.^[1a] They can be found on various Imperial worlds, sometimes being killed on hunts.^[1b] Their ursine pelts are sometimes used in clothing, such as Vostroyan hats.^[2]

Their is a stellar constellation called Ursid Majoris that can seen in the sky while on Terra.^[1a]

Ursidae is a family of caniforms (doglike-carnivores).

Ursid is both a noun and adjective while Ursine is just an adjective. The term Ursid tend to lean towards the classification while Ursine leans towards the description of their bear characteristics.
