Biography

Greetings brothers and sisters of the Imperium!

My first real step into this universe was through the first Space Marine video game and in my opinion, both the first and second one are very good beginner friendly visual introductions to the hobby if you don't want to nosedive into buying codices and miniatures or just plain don't like reading. Nothing beats charging headlong into hordes of Orks or Chaos spawn and getting to know them up close and personal rather than just reading up about them on the Lexicanum. All jokes aside, if you are serious about getting into the lore, then reading books is a must if you want anything more than surface level knowledge and meme lore and this site is an excellent source for it as it provides sources for almost everything you will read here.

  • Now, if you couldn't already tell by my entire profile, I’m a massive fan of the Ultramarines. I'm a big fan of their balanced and logistics/tactics oriented fighting paired with their massive egos. Being GW poster boys doesn't hurt either. Also as a person from the Mediterranean, as far as aesthetics go, it was a no-brainer choice.
  • Since joining the Lexicanum back in November of 2024, I’ve spent a fair amount of time editing and adding info wherever I can. Some of the changes have been small tweaks, others more substantial. I’ve uploaded images to The Fallen entry to help flesh it out, put effort into expanding the biographies of several characters from the video games (Space Marine I and II, Freeblade, etc.) so they are in line with Lexicanum standards and sit more comfortably alongside the wider lore.
  • Although I haven't had the pleasure of playing the tabletop game since 40k is extremely niche in my country, I still buy and paint the minis and have them on my shelf as display pieces. I am also really into DnD, roleplaying and making my own OCs so I added a hint of that here. If you've read this far, thank you for letting me waste your time :)
