Gettting into 40K during 8th edition, I've been a Warhammer fan for about 10 years now and love the hobby. I've started appreciating the Lexicanum wiki recently for its very citation focused approach to the lore, something I value during my research.
For wiki credentials, I moderate the Battle Nations fandom wiki as an Administrator, though admitidly took it over largely to counteract some vandalizism that was happening at the time. Additionally, I've worked heavily on the "Thunder Lizard" entry from warhammer fantasy, helping build out a lot of missing information by tracking down missing lore bits from old codex.
Other credentials I have include working on the "(Faction name) - What do you want that is Misssing?" set of Reddit articles that explore various factions units that exist in the background lore or fan zygyst but are missing on the tabletop. I'm particularly proud of finding the Sisters of Silence "Raven's Claw Assault Squad" as it was a journey to find the name of a unit that has existed in art since before I joined the hobby. Similarly, finding out the Drukhari Kashnarak was an old fan creation of EPIC 40k fans and pinpointing the exact document it appeared in was a fun bit of investigation.
My interest in an account is due to wanting to do similar things, tracking down niche bits of evidence to help build out the wiki. No current plans in mind but I'd like to be able to use the discussion boards as there are times I think I have a good lead but hit a dead end and would like to crowd source some help.
