Welcome to Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the Help section. Again, welcome and have fun! Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 22:23, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
Sources
Hello, please note that if you expand a single instance source to multiple instance that you must move the original source to the new first position. I.e. If before there was a source "2" and you add expand it you must move it to "2a" before continuing yourself with 2b etc. See article history for what I mean. Thx. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 11:35, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
- Please also note that all Trivia/ conflicting sources changes have to be backed up with citations. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 11:35, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
Hiya, thanks for the advice! I'm still trying to get the hang of the editing interface and format so this is helpful. Hopefully this message reaches you, because I'm not quite sure how to reply either. -- nmzcoward
- You're welcome. Some pointers/features can be found in the incomplete Help section, some are rather trial and error and often the easiest way is to ask people. Be it in-wiki or via our discord server.
- And yes, your answer reaches me, I have auto-checked the box you see at the bottom when editting ("Watch this page"), this means I get sent a notification and summary by email.
- And if you type --~~~~ it gets automatically transformed into a time-stamped signature for use on (user) talk pages.

Prophaniti and the very thin line to personal interpretation
Please note that a "Conflicting sources" section should only be used for instances directly contradicting each other. The Lexicanum's intended clear line is to document, not to interprete or extrapolate. Obviously the "death" of each and every individual ever can be questioned given GW's history of resurrected characters. But that can't be the point of our articles. If a source says dead it's dead, if it says Eisenhorn isn't sure than that goes into the article (as well). But please no comparative arguments, that is the domain of forums, reddits etc. Thank you. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 10:37, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
Gotcha, I'll just move the part about him not being sure into the main article and delete the conflicting sources section in that case. --Nmzcoward (talk) 23:10, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
Hi, I added a conflicting sources section on another article, pretty sure I did it properly this time, but would you mind checking? https://lex.124811.xyz/wiki/Darnath_Lysander#Canon_Conflict --Nmzcoward (talk) 19:51, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
