Hello there and welcome (again). Unfortunately there are a number of problems with your recently uploaded file.
1.) It is not from an official source. Or at least you don't give a verifiable official source as the source. Without an official source files can not be used in the Lexicanum. So please change that accordingly, thanks. If the image can be found (in whatever quality) in a Chapter Approved then that is the source. Random internet pages beyond GW&Co. curated pages are not accepted.
1.) Always fill out the "Copyright" field by entering {{Copyright}} which will be automatically transformed into the correct disclaimer.
3.) All files must be categorized. As it can be a daunting task to find the correct image category I always recommend to look for a similar image and navigate the category tree from there. Also makes it easier to copy/paste the necessary format.
Thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 21:24, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
- Understood. I changed the source, filled out the copyright, and categorized the image. As for verification, I'm 99% sure it came from the GW page considering the image name and how it matches an image in the Chapter Approved Creature Features compiled here. As you can see, the list on the second page matches the layout seen in this archived page, and the thumbnail for the Barking Toad is clearly cropped from the image I uploaded. More images from the articles were preserved here, but the toad was unfortunately not among them. I understand if this is insufficient evidence to fit the policy, but I hope that you'll be willing to make an exception in this case. Valiran9 (talk) 19:29, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
- Not being a too big fan of exceptions I managed to track down the official (first I guess) source and put this on a solid basis. It was published/ printed on paper in WD #292 (UK). And allegedly in #291 (US) but I didn't find that issue. And presumably also in all other language editions of WD. Anyway one official and verifiable source is enough. So another case solved. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 18:55, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
