Hello, I notice that during your image upload you showed exemplary knowledge of using the correct format for description, sourcing, copyright disclaimer and even categories. Not self-evident for a first upload. I would however like to point out that users should try to avoid whenever possible the image format PNG. The filesizes are simply impractically big and if used a lot this will put a strain on the server. There are certain cases where PNG is necessary or preferable, but your image does not fall under this category. The question would also be if the resolution could be somehwat reduced, after all it will presumably only be used as an illustrative thumbnail in an article and I am not convinced that for that 1,036 × 692 pixels are really necessary. Thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 12:39, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- I received your message regarding that it's best to avoid uploading images as PNGs or with large resolutions. As a quick solution I replaced the image with a smaller PNG. While I also have a suitable jpg and have perused the Help page but I am unaware how to remove the png I uploaded so I am currently unable to swap it out for the jpg.

- First a sidenote: you can answer a talk item on the page where the discussion was started (i.e. your talk page), I will receive a notification about that. Has the advantage of having the whole discussion on one page. Therefore I moved your reply back here.
- Second, on the topic. The system does not let you replace a png with a jpg, correct. The best way is therefore to upload a new file under a new name with the right format and change the article pages correspondingly. You can then mark the now unused PNG image with a {{delete}} tag in the description field and at some point during a general cleanup it will be removed along with other items that are marked for deletion. Cheers. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 21:47, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
