Valdanor was a Space Marine active during the War of the Beast who was chosen to become the Imperial Fists' new Third Captain^[1b], after its Successor Chapters decided to rebuild their destroyed Progenitor Chapter.^[1a]

He would later take part in the Imperium's third invasion of The Beast's Homeworld, Ullanor.^[1b]
