Valhallan 171st
The Valhallan 171st are a Valhallan Ice Warriors regiment of the Astra Militarum.[1]
When the Agri World of Rikkai was invaded by Renegade Space Marines, the Valhallan 171st managed to hold the planet for months by retreating into Rikkai's southern polar regions. Eventually they were relieved by a strike force of the Dark Angels Chapter. Although the regiment suffered significant casualties (over two thirds of the regiment's Guardsmen having been killed), those invaders who didn't flee were wiped out.[1]
