Rikkai is an Agri World of the Imperium. It was once the primary food supplier for the Tormont System.[1]
At one point the planet was invaded by Renegade Space Marines. The Valhallan 171st was able to hold Rikkai against the invaders by retreating to the regions around the planet's southern pole and waging an attritional war until they were relieved by a strike force from the Dark Angels Chapter.[1]
