Vaporius is an Feudal World, that is located in the Heathen Stars area of the Koronus Expanse.[1]
The human population of Vaporius is tall, with proud, almost feline features, and eyes of brilliant cyan. They move about their cities in robes of shimmering fabric that subtly change hue as they move.[1]

Geography
Vaporius is one vast red desert, broken up by continent-spanning mountain ranges, gigantic parched basins filled with dust and sand, and a handful of gleaming turquoise dead seas, too salty to support any life. Survival only seems possible near the springs and within the thrall of the Priest-Kings where there are great cities of copper towers, enamelled domes, and sprawling buildings covered in brightly coloured tiles of glass, metal, and ceramic. However, there is more life out in the desert than explorers might expect.[2]
Key regions include:
- The Cities of Glass: Cities at least hundreds of kilometers apart run by a Priest King and centered around a divine well. Some like Vyr and Atar trade with one another.[2]
- The Sky Mountains: Crisscross the plains and divide the world into vast dust bowls.[2]
- The Dead Seas: Brilliant turquoise and cyan seas dot the surface of Vaporius like tiny puddles of rain. Their waters toxic to life and their touch caustic to flesh.[2]
- The Ocean of Dust: Beyond the Sky Mountains, the glass cities, and the sandy plains stretches the Ocean of Dust, a seemingly endless valley hemmed in on all sides by towering cliffs.[2]
- The Temple of the First Men: Legends speaks of the ships the first men used to sail to Vaporius and of the first great temple they built to honour their gods.[2]
Government
Priest-Kings maintain their power through a lineage of careful breeding and the attention of ancient royal families. Below them are the Thrall Castes: Cutters, Shapers, Scavengers, Breeders and Water Children. Some, called Sandmen, live outside the system in the Deserts and the Sky Mountains. Religious disputes have arisen as Imperial Cult Missionaries preach of a divine being more powerful than the Priest-Kings.[2]
