Varadon was once the homeworld of the Shadow Wolves Chapter, until it was invaded by the Tyranids in 987.M41.[1][Note 1]
Despite the efforts of the Shadow Wolves and the Black Templars, Varadon fell to the Xenos and the Chapter was thought to have died with their homeworld.[1]
