Vehicle Upgrades

Across the many of the Galaxy, there exists great variation in vehicles. Some are knocked together by individualistic mekboyz using half-remembered plans. Others churned out across different forge worlds of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Skilled Eldar Bonesingers will delicately craft each vehicle using their individual psychic mind.[1]

Improvements, upgrades and special features are often added to a vehicle upon construction. Imperial Command Vehicles are fitted with improved communications and detection gear. Ork Mekboyz in particular can't but help to build a Wartrak or Ork Warbike every time, "improving" the design with each new project. Ultimately, it is the vehicle's own crew that makes any standardized design into an individual fighting machine. They get a hold of spare pieces of equipment and armour to upgrade their vehicle's capability and survivability (always of great interest to the crew themselves), tinker with the engine to boost its performance, and experiment with mounting different weapons.[1]

This page lists vehicle upgrades, both those common throughout the major powers of the galaxy, within a faction itself, as well as its various sub-factions.

Common Vehicle Upgrades

These upgrades are common and shared among several of the major factions of the galaxy, including but not limited to the Imperium, forces of Chaos, Eldar, Orks, as well as various subfactions such as the vehicles of Sisters of Battle, Arbites, Rogue Traders, Genestealer Cults and more [2]:
