Vortigern was a Knight Armiger of House Cadmus.^[1a]

History

Following Gryphonne IV's destruction, the war machine would survive the Tyranid invasion and end up amongst the survivors aboard the Peregrinus. Subsequently being piloted by the former Imperial Knight pilot Edgar Lorristan of House Cadmus.^[1a]

Equipment

Vortigern boasts the loadout of a Knight Warglaive being equipped with a Heavy Stubber mounted atop the Armiger's carapace, twinned thermal spears, and a chainblade.^[1a]

Vortigern was a 5th-century warlord in Britain. Information about whether this figure existed or not is obscure and contested by scholars. The figure may have been one of the kings of the Britons.
