Waaagh! Yark is an Ork Blood Axes Waaagh! that is led by Warboss Yark. It is modelled after the Astra Militarum.[1]

History

Yark himself became inspired by an encounter with Commissar Yarrick and modelled himself after the Imperial hero. This was the beginning of his rise, that eventually led Yark to become a Warboss. He then learned to read and studied the Imperium Tactica, which consisted of information about the Astra Militarum. This knowledge allowed Yark to model Waaagh! Yark after the military organisation, which included their appearance and training.[1]

This included having Gretchin act as Ratling Snipers, with Hair Squigs on their feet, and Nobz serving as Heavy Weapon Teams. Yark even allowed Snakebites Boarboyz into his Waaagh!, so they could serve as Rough Riders. They also have several captured Imperial war machines, but lack those that can unleash artillery barrages. As a result, the Warboss has been forced to make do with Shokk Attack Gun teams. One of his Big Bosses also became so impressed by Yark's style of imitating Yarrick, that he decided to emulate an Imperial hero as well. This Big Boss became Chukoff, who imitated the appearance of the Valhallan 18th "Tundra Wolves"'s Commander, Kubrik Chenkov. Waaagh! Yark is now on the move and was last seen heading towards the strategic world of Bolta-More.[1]
