Naming-Models vs Squads
Articles will be based on the individual, not the unit. Examples are Guardsman and Dark Eldar Warrior. Articles should also be in the singular (Guardsman, not Guardsmen).
Articles which should not exist are ones such as Infantry Platoon and Dark Eldar Warrior Squad.
Naming-Race name prefix
The race name should only be used as a prefix, and only if there are multiple examples of a same name in more than one race, for example Eldar/Dark Eldar/Imperial Jetbikes.
Vehicles
Vehicle articles should be separated in all cases, for example Land Raider, Land Raider Crusader, Land Raider Helios etc. should each have separate articles.
Mounts
Mounts should be separated like vehicles, for example Eldar and Dark Eldar Jetbikes have separate pages, included in any other article only as a mention without detail. Note that because they are unique in that the squad tactics are based on the use of the Jetbikes, squad descriptions of the units which uses mounts will be in the mount article, not the rider article (for example Eldar Jetbike will describe Guardian Jetbike Squadrons, not Guardian).
Redirects
Redirects should include plurals of the article and the squad names. For example Infantry Squad should redirect to Guardsman.
Potential Issues
- -1- Veterans
Veterans are usually more experienced versions of other units in the game. While it can be argued that they are the same as the other unit and as such should be merged, for the sake of simplicity they shall be kept apart. Often they have different tactical roles and equipment which makes them a very different unit to the other.
