Warp Clock
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
Warp Clocks were Daemonic devices of Nurgle, that were created by the Daemon Primarch Mortarion and they greatly aided his forces' efforts in the Plague Wars.[1]
Description
The devices were secretly placed on several worlds in the Realm of Ultramar and were connected to each other via a Warp root network. This network began to weaken the fabric of Ultramar and spread Nurgle's plagues throughout the Realm. The Warp Clock's network also aided Mortarion's forces by strengthening his mortal followers and giving his Daemon allies the energy they needed to remain in Realspace. However, the devices began to be destroyed by Lord Commander Guilliman, after he became aware of them and the loss of each Warp Clock greatly weakened the network.[1]
