Xarius (Mercenary)

Xarius, Mercenary of the Apocalypse is a remorseless Renegade Space Marine mercenary.^[1]

He is rumoured to have been a classified experiment, but when Xarius discovered what had been done to him, he turned from the Emperor's light. This led Xarius to become a mercenary who has no brethren nor allies and his only faith is in his Warhammer, Death's Will. In battle, Xarius uses his wings to plummet to earth to collect his bounty and inflicts pain upon his foes in order to temper his internal flames and cool his blood.^[1]

• Xarius and Death's Will were created by the Games Workshop employee Mike Ranzetta and they appear in White Dwarf 486.^[1]
