Yan Venner was a Moderati 3rd Class of the Legio Ignatum.[1a][1b]
Active during the Horus Heresy, Venner served under Princeps Meira aboard the Titan Cúhullin.[1a] After Meira's first engagement while commanding Cúhullin, Venner was debriefed by Princeps Seniores Sureval and noted his impressions of Meira as a Princeps were favourable, given how well she performed in the battle.[1b]
