Yctria Ghularis
Yctria Ghularis, known by others as the Flayer Queen (although she personally despises this nickname), was a Dark Eldar Succubus, first as leader of the Cult of the First Blood[1] and now Queen of the Cult of the Red Grief. She was as ravishing as she was ambitious.[1]
History
Yctria led the pyramidal hierarchy of Wyches of the Cult of the First Blood, she was first among wyches to have been surgically modified with sharpened wire, which runs through her energy meridians. This sharpens her (and other Wyches) senses with the tang of pain, but gives her a legendarily foul temperament – declaring vendettas against Kabals purely for using her nickname the Flayer Queen.[2] Whenever she felt slighted, she would fly into a spectacular rage. The bladed frenzies that usually followed made for excellent entertainment, and the subsequent flayings, administered by Yctria herself, were a potent source of psychic nourishment.[1]
At some point, Yctria and other members of her cult joined the Cult of Red Grief.[1]
After killing the famed Succubus Kariasche, she earned the ire of her client Haemonculus, Croniarch Sekh. Nonetheless, Yctria sought Sekh's aid in the subsequent Battle of Refusal. However, during the battle, her second-in-command worked with Sekh to betray Yctria and her Wych troops by engulfing them in a mutagenic gas. Yctria was transformed into a gigantic lump of flesh and forced to fight in the arenas of Commorragh.[1]
