Zigadenus Brain Eaters are psychic plants, that can exhibit temporary mind control over their victims.^[1]

Description

As the plants are stationary, they wait until creatures near them before unleashing their psychic might on their prey's mind. Should the Brain Eaters succeed, they will then begin physically controlling their prey and using their puppets to attack anyone who is nearby. This even includes using any weapons their prey was holding when the plants attacked. It is not clear how the Brain Eaters became psychic in the first place, but the subject has become a hotly researched topic by certain Inquisition sects.^[1]
