Zola Vedette
Zola Vedette is a Tempestus Scion of the Redemption Corps, which is led by its Tempestor Prime Zane Mortensen.[1c]
Biography
She was born on Mordia and had long distinguished herself in the ranks of the Tempestus Scion, before Vedette first met Mortensen. This occurred on Nebrus IX[1c] in M42[1b], where they were both among the Imperial forces there fighting a Plague Zombie outbreak on the world. However the world was soon overwhelmed and the Ordo Sepulturum ordered the world to be destroyed by Exterminatus. As the countdown to the world's destruction began, Vedette was part of a rearguard that fought the zombies in order to allow the Noctan Strikes Regiments a chance to reach the extraction zone. At the eleventh hour, though, Mortensen's Redemption Corps Company was sent to aid them and they successfully evacuated Vedette and the others, mere moments before the Exterminatus began. Mortensen was so impressed by Vedette's stalwart actions, that he used his influence to have her transferred to the Redemption Corps[1c]. She has since served well there, and has also entered into a casual relationship with Mortensen, though, both maintain their professionalism while they are on missions.[1a]
