Index Astartes is one of four background and rule books, that compiles a series of articles from White Dwarf magazine about the Space Marines. The book starts, logically, with the articles that help one to understand what makes a Space Marine and what their life is like, as well as including articles on the first four First Founding Space Marine Legions and other articles.
