The Biophagus is a type of Genestealer Hybrid that specialize in in gene-manipulation and bio-alchemy.
Overview
They are responsible for industrializing the process of contaminating and indoctrinating new recruits into their Genstealer Cult. In Human societies, the Biophagus is often found posing as medical staff, where they can infect new victims with genetic concoctions they have created, which leave the Biophagus' victims more susceptible to their Cult's subtle influences. When their Cult goes to war, the Biophagus is accompanied by an Alchemicus Familiar and is protected by a bodyguard of Aberrants. These Aberrants will find themselves acting as test subjects for the Biophagus, which likes to experiment on them with an assortment of biological cocktails that will enhance their abilities. While the Biophagus is no front-line fighter, they are more than able to defend themselves, as their injector goads are filled with toxins that are lethal to all but the hardiest of foes.[1]
