The Probators are the detectives of the Hive World Alecto's Enforcers.[1c]
They generally wear lighter armour and weapons than the Sanctioners.[1a] New recruits usually apprentice to existing Probators as junior investigators[1b], while their successful colleagues can achieve the rank of Senioris - with all the power plays that includes. At the Bastions entire floors are dedicated to accommodate their office cells, where they will work through reports and evidence.[1d]
Ranks
- Probator-Senioris: Experienced detective of high rank[2][3]
- Probator-Novus: Low-ranking detective, usually probationary[3]
