Welcome to Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the Help section. Again, welcome and have fun! Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 13:01, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
Skaven
Hello and welcome! I saw your edits to Skaven and Kweethul and wanted to reach out because you made a few errors, and since you're new I wanted to be sure you were aware of the why on my corrections.
- First and most importantly: you added information that was not in a source when you said that the Skaven were "rodent-like", those words do not appear in White Dwarf 109 (UK) – we cannot misrepresent or speculate from sources like this as it adds innaccuracies (even ones that seem obvious, but are neverthelss infered conclusions such as that rodotoxin probably applies to rodents).
- Second, you need to add a source if you provide any information to a page, even in the See Also sections (as you did with Kweethul on the Skaven page) – this prevents uncited innacuracies from playing telephone across pages and sticking around.
- And, finally, on the Kweethul page itself, you included the commonly-applied tidbit of "Their fate is unknown." – this kind of speculation is a lesser evil, but should still be avoided as the uncertain fate/location/etc. of a characters is self evident for every character on the lexicanum, we can assume our audience can figure it out.
Otherwise, welcome to the lex and EXCELLENT first choice of articles to sink your teeth into (and major props for using the interlexicanum correctly)! Looking forward to whatever else you choose to research and add/correct. Good work!--Zap1000x (talk) 01:24, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
Thanks so much for the specific feedback! That is both kind and helpful of you. All your comments make sense and I'll take them on board. The formatting is the most daunting thing but the help articles are just about guiding me through the learning curve.
Having said that, I'm still not 100% sure how to use the user talk pages or the discussion tab on article pages. I assume users get an email when changes are made?

- It took me *forever* to learn how to do the formatting well, and I'm still learning as I go (the "show preview" button gets a lot of use).
- I'm not sure what best practice is for communication on here, but I always check the "add to watchlist" on the articles that I edit or create and use my watchlist as an inbox. (I'll audit my watchlist every once in a while). By default you are watching your own talk page, and the talk pages of pages you edit.
- That said, if ever there is a general question, I've found the Lexicanum discord to be a friendly place to ask it. --Zap1000x (talk) 04:48, 31 March 2026 (UTC)
