Darwin II is an Imperial, Jungle and Swamp World, that is ruled by Governor Los Alberingo.^[1]

History

The population lives in the jungle within city-sized rockrete bunkers, that are on giant stilts and so life there is the same as any other city. Among them is Capital Boden, which is located to the west of several mountains. It is located further towards the western galactic spiral arm, where the stars are more numerous and densely packed. They are said to glimmer with an unnatural white tinge in Darwin II's moonless skies. Currently, the world has been invaded by the Sirens Xenos species and several Catachan Jungle Fighters Regiments are fighting within its jungles, while a Jurian Regiment is fighting within Darwin II's mountains. However due to the Siren's psychic abilities, many of the Regiments' Guardsmen have fallen under the Xenos' control and are now being used to fight against their fellow Imperials.^[1]

• Yellowbacks - three-foot long lizards that were found all through the world's jungles. They are a staple of Darwin II's Human and predator food chain^[1]
