Needle Pistol
The Needle Pistol is a handheld Needle Weapon.[1]
This weapon is highly favoured by assassins, because this weapon is flashless, silent and concealable. They are thus often used for assassination, doping, kidnapping and other secretive work.[1] Outside of criminal groups they are used by the Inquisition[3], Officio Assassinorum[7], Alpha Legion[8], and are also favored by the Primi of Genestealer Cults.[2]
Known Patterns
- Executioner pistol: Combi-Weapon used by Eversor Assassins of the Officio Assassinorum.[7]
- Drakaina: Relic Alpha Legion weapon.[8]
- Belasco Galvain Needle: A product of the Belasco Deathworks of the Noble House Belasco on Malfi, this pattern is infamous for being the murder weapon used to assassinate Cardinal Tyndale as well as a dozen other deacons and priests on the planet Gallowglass. This has lead to the house being denounced from the Cathedral pulpit as "sinful deathmongers", an accusation the noble house has decidedly not refuted. Galvain Needlers are capable of being modified to use a hidden rig worn on a user's forearm and fired by means of a palm trigger, allowing it to function as a concealed weapon.[5]
