Da Krimsom Barun was an infamous Ork Flyboy in the 41st Millennium. An unparalleled dogfighter, he suffered his first defeat in the Battle of Cardrim when his distinctive red Dakkajet was shot down by a Necron Doom Scythe. He survived the crash and 'acquired' another fighter from a fellow Flyboy. This time engaging both the Necron and White Scars forces battling at Fellstorm Airfield, Da Krimson Barun shot down at least four Necron Doom Scythes and Night Scythes before he was again shot down by a Space Marine Missile Launcher. Uttering 'zoggin' 'eck' before crashing, it is unknown if Da Krimson Barun survived the battle.^[1]

The name and mythology surrounding Da Krimson Barun bears a strong resemblance to that of the World War I German fighter pilot Manfred von Richthofen, also known as The Red Baron. The same applies to another Flyboy with a similar appellation, Da Red Nob.
