The Shadow Keep is a hidden place deep in the Webway to which Shadowseers take their Acolytes to complete their tests and become full Shadowseers.^[1]

The location of the Shadow Keep in the Webway is known only to Shadowseers, but it is rumored to be within the Black Library, on the ancient Aeldari homeworld, or in the mystic heart of the Webway where Cegorach resides.^[1]

It is known that Acolytes whole fail their tests are never seen again, and rumored that, if they don't die, they serve The Laughing God in his sanctum.^[1]
