Abar

The Abar were a Terran nomadic tribe of Nordafrik's Zu'har Expanse, which was wiped out in one of the Emperor's battles, during the Unification Wars.[1]
History
All information pertaining to them, comes from the Imperial Palace's records and the Abar are described as being matriarchal and spiritual. They were also dedicated to ancestor worship and burned their dead on pyres, as a funeral rite. While the pyres burned, the Abar sang dirges and they believed the words joined their loved ones ashes', as the wind carried the remains away. By doing so, the tribe sent their dead into the afterlife with their blessings.[1]
